The Dragon Meditation

Now were ready to focus on manifestation.

The six pointed star can become three dimensional but this is also where illustrations fall short.

Imagine your spine as a tube and the six pointed star is in the tube flattened out at about chest level. Step through the first three sides of the upward facing triangle, then move up an inch or so and step through the sides of the downwards facing triangle. Step through the sides of the upward facing triangle again just an inch or so higher. Then step through the downward facing triangle an inch or so higher again. Keep this pattern going until you move above your head. Now begin descending the spine starting with the downward facing triangle. An inch lower step through the upward facing triangle and repeat this alternation all the way down below your feet. Then go back to the original ascending pattern until you get to the chest level where you started.

This is one pass. However, you can do this pass entraining an affirmation to the sides of the triangle. Whatever desire/goal you want to have come about, create a six syllable affirmation and entrain it to the sides of the star. Example: “ How do I run deeply?”.

The illustration below is a somewhat feeble attempt to represent this three dimensional meditation, two dimensionally. If you start at the bottom of this illustration and ascend, the dotted lines with the arrows represent the path ascending and the plain dotted lines represent the sides of the triangle traced in the previous lower position. In reality the sides of these triangles are somewhere between flattened out and the vertical that is displayed. This makes the lines a bit curved but I will leave that to your imagination. This illustration is for ascending. Reverse it for descending.

Now we have seven stages to this running method. To make it easier to follow and remember I’ve made a chart for you.

This figure is called an Enneagram. They say that any complete system can fit within the enneagram. Follow the numbers starting with 1, then 2, 3, 4, then back to 2 to pick up the 6 pointed star, up to 8 for the Merkaba and down to 5 for the Dragon Meditation. This is how you follow the inner lines in the Enneagram. I will fill in the other points in the coming weeks.

Divide up your running route so it has 7 segments and practice these meditations cumulatively except do not carry through the Merkaba when you get to point 5.

That’s all for this week.

Let me know how it’s going.

I know this geeky and esoteric, however, this is the kind of stuff I come up with and I am GOING FOR IT!

If you missed the first six articles, here they are.
